Sometimes patients or friends ask me (Dr. Rohn) what I wish I had known before my babies were born. Despite my years of medical training and delivering babies to other women, there were definitely some surprises. Some were mild in the scheme of things (hot flashes at night!) and others much harder to deal with (did you know that babies can take up to 8 weeks to get their nights and days straight?).
